Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Wind Site Technician to ensure smooth turbine operation, tackling maintenance, troubleshooting, and system issues. You will contribute to clean, reliable energy and collaborate across wind, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.

The role requires 6 months with a Wind Tech certificate or 1 year wind turbine experience, or 2 years in related fields, plus a safety-minded approach and English proficiency. A high school diploma, valid license, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Wind Technician certificate or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and an engaged approach to responsibilities.
• Safety-conscious and committed to best practices.
• Able to collaborate and work well in a team environment.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights; must read and follow instructions in English.
• Valid driver’s license and legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities for tracking duration and efficiency.
