Job summary

Vestas American Wind Technology seeks a Wind Site Technician to ensure reliable turbine operation through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and system inspections. You’ll work with a team to keep communities powered and safety front and center.

The role welcomes candidates with a wind technician certificate or relevant mechanical/electrical experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work at heights. Training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Wind Technician certificate or equivalent wind turbine experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in varying conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative mindset.
• Must be able to speak and read English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to ensure reliable power.
• Follow safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and track task duration and efficiency.
• Follow codes and logging for all maintenance activities.
