Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to support the SD2 Hub across wind sites. The role focuses on turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repair, collaborating with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues, document work, and coordinate with GE’s remote operations center. Local travel and climbing towers up to 300 feet are required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year wind technician experience or wind-related training.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to execute contractual obligations per customer requirements and daily activities.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Document all work performed using service reporting procedures and GE systems.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.
