Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Wind Hub Technician to maintain and optimize wind turbine operations at the hub. You will perform maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with site leadership to meet contractual requirements while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires wind experience, the ability to climb tall towers, and working in a field setting. Relocation assistance is provided for eligible candidates; remote work options may apply in this hub.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4–5 years wind troubleshooting experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to climb towers up to 300 feet and handle ~50 lbs.
• Ability to understand electrical schematics, manuals, procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with Hub Manager to meet contractual obligations and daily activities.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on wind turbines.
• Support site operations with planning, supervision, and customer service.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center when needed.
