Job summary

Invenergy LLC is hiring a Field Troubleshooting Technician- Wind to support the wind operating fleet. The role focuses on in-field troubleshooting and returning turbines to service, partnering with site teams, and training newer technicians. The position is 100% travel for 4 weeks with a 1-week break at the end of each cycle.

Base pay ranges from $35.23 to $52.97 per hour with a potential 0–10% bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of wind turbine experience or equivalent technical education.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and at heights >80 meters.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the US to support sites with advanced troubleshooting and repairs.
• Diagnose faults and repair equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Assist with pilot projects and evaluate new equipment or processes.
• Lead on-site teams and perform QA/QC inspections across the fleet.
• Provide on-the-job training and supervise contractor work for equipment return to operation.
