Job summary

Clearway Energy is hiring a Wind Site Manager to oversee Langford Wind Farm operations, ensuring safe, compliant day-to-day activity, performance monitoring, and budgeting input. The role leads site staff and contractors, liaises with landowners and authorities, and coordinates turbine technicians and SCADA tasks.

A strong background in wind/power operations and NERC standards is required. Candidates with 7+ years in wind or power, and leadership experience, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in the wind or power generation.
• Ability to climb towers up to 300 feet.
• Knowledge of NERC standards and utility regulatory requirements.
• Experience with operations financial management and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Direct safe, compliant day-to-day operation of the wind farm.
• Monitor, upkeep, and reporting of plant performance.
• Develop annual operating plan and input on annual budget.
• Lead site staff and contractors; coordinate with vendors.
• Serve as primary contact for landowners, authorities, and contract concerns.
• Coordinate on-site turbine technician scheduling and SCADA support.
• Respond to plant outages and participate in procurement for parts and services.
