Nordex SE is seeking a Service Technician to support wind turbine operations and maintenance in Minnesota. This role is crucial to ensuring the safe and efficient performance of wind turbine generators, which are vital for producing renewable energy. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, experience with tools, and will be committed to safety protocols. The role includes responsibilities such as performing maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and operating in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of wind experience required.
• Ability to be certified to work with medium and high-voltage equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime and holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain wind turbine generators and related equipment.
• Support 24/7/365 wind farm operations including rotating shifts.
• Conduct safety analyses of energy sources and hazards.

Skills

Ability to work independently

Experience working with hand and power tools

Climbing and working at heights

Strong understanding of safety protocols

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Certification or degree in wind, technical, or engineering field
