Job summary

Nordex Group in the United States seeks a Service Technician to ensure the safe, efficient operation of wind turbine generators and to support 24/7 operations at wind farms. You will perform planned and unplanned maintenance, document activities in Movilizer, and collaborate with Site Leads to resolve technical and customer concerns.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, is able to obtain wind/engineering certification, and can work at heights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, wind/engineering certification preferred.
• Ability to be certified to work with medium and high-voltage equipment.
• Experience with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain wind turbine generators and related equipment at the wind farm.
• Support 24/7/365 wind farm operations, including rotating shifts, overtime, and on-call duties.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics; organize and report work with documentation.
