Job summary

Nordex USA, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of wind turbine generators at our wind farms. You will participate in 24/7 operations, perform maintenance, safety analyses, and documentation to support efficient energy production.

The role requires climbing, travel, and the ability to work under varying conditions with a strong safety mindset. Join a team dedicated to renewable energy and safety excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification or degree in wind, technical, or engineering preferred.
• Minimum wind experience as a qualifying factor.
• Ability to obtain MV/HV certification and operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain wind turbine generators at the wind farm.
• Support 24/7 wind farm operations, including shifts and on-call duties.
• Perform safety analyses of hazards before work.
• Assist in root cause analyses for equipment failures.
• Complete documentation of corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Read electrical/hydraulic schematics and use MS Office.
