Job summary

The Operations Manager will oversee operations and maintenance activities of EDPR’s wind power generation facilities and lead daily ownership representation. The role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable performance and adherence to environmental and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include managing BOP assets, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, reporting performance metrics, and engaging with local communities and stakeholders to maximize facility value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.
• 5–7 years relevant experience, preferably in wind energy.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database applications.
• Analytical problem solving, strong communication, customer/partner relationships, and technology expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and maintenance activities for wind power facilities.
• Interface with local communities to establish rapport.
• Manage BOP assets within operating guidelines for projects 100–400 MW.
• Oversee contracts and agreements for sites under warranty and off-warranty.
• Facilitate reporting and monitor KPI performance and safety compliance.
• Engage internal and external resources to address performance issues.
