Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an equipment operator for the Longspur Wind Project in Glen Ullin, ND. This role operates a broad range of site equipment per project plans, while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will follow pre-task cards, perform routine maintenance, observe load charts and safety rules, and collaborate with diverse teams to keep construction on schedule. Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned and to work at heights and in variable conditions is required.

Qualifications

• Equipment certifications as required.
• Minimum one (1) year of related experience.
• Current driver’s license and endorsements as required by law.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and load charts.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment based on project requirements (blade, dozer, loader, crane, etc.).
• Follow safety regulations and maintain housekeeping.
• Perform routine maintenance and detect malfunctions.
• Follow work plans and pre-task cards.
• Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
