Job summary

PacifiCorp seeks a seasoned wind environmental supervisor to lead a team of environmental technicians and contractors in Wyoming. You will ensure safe, compliant operations, oversee avian surveys, budgeting, and coordination with operations and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Wildlife Biology or Environmental Sciences; or equivalent.
• Five+ years in wildlife field, preferably energy generation.
• Three+ years in a supervisory role overseeing employees.
• Knowledge of environmental laws: BGEPA, MBTA, ESA.
• Strong data analysis and writing skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and data presentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day wind environmental/wildlife technicians and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with wildlife avian policies, permits and regulations.
• Coordinate with wind environmental leadership on implementation and compliance.
• Interview, hire, train and develop employees as assigned.
• Assist with scope of work, budgeting, invoicing and forecasting.
• Deliver training to operations staff and contractors.
• Develop or update policies to ensure environmental compliance.
