Job summary
PacifiCorp seeks a Manager, Environmental to lead compliance and permitting for Rocky Mountain Power and Pacific Power Transmission and Distribution. You will oversee environmental specialists and coordinate with operations, agencies, and contractors to ensure permits and requirements are met.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science or related field, 7+ years in environmental regulation, and 3+ years of people management, with strong communication and project leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management or related field.
- 7+ years in environmental/natural resources, preferably energy-related.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Experience dealing with Federal and state agencies and NEPA knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Manage environmental lands team and oversee permitting, compliance and oversight of transmission projects.
- Coordinate with T&D operations to ensure environmental policy and permit compliance.
- Communicate with internal groups, contractors and regulatory agencies.
- Provide leadership to ensure permits are in place and complied with.
- Review permit conditions and implement company procedures.
- Prepare Scope of Work documents and assist budgeting and reporting.
