Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a PGD Technical Services Manager for Wind Blades and Structures to provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for wind turbine blades, towers, and foundations within the EOSS organization. The role emphasizes predictive analytics, data-driven insights, and AI-enabled tools to maximize fleet performance and asset health.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in engineering, 7+ years in power generation or analytics, 3+ years of leadership, wind industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 7+ years of relevant technical experience in power generation, asset reliability, or data analytics
• 3+ years of leadership or people management experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven insights
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive-level presentation experience
• Direct experience in wind industry, with blade design/manufacturing knowledge
• Experience with predictive analytics platforms, drone assessment, job plan development, and project management
• Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analyses with OEMs and in-house to develop risk mitigation strategies
• Drive blade health strategy including predictive modeling and performance optimization
• Lead development of blade repair techniques and procedures
• Develop blade design assessment and criteria for new designs and repairs
• Advance data science and AI usage to improve blade repair and replacement predictions
• Develop and advance foundation inspection and repair guidelines
• Lead wind performance assessment against contractual obligations
• Communicate complex findings to executives and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement through Six Sigma and quality audits
• Support predictive failure counts and budget planning
• Present monthly fleet performance reports to leadership
