Job summary

EWEB in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a seasoned supervisor for the Willamette Water Treatment Plant project delivery team. You will lead engineering, planning, and technical staff, and ensure timely, on-budget project delivery while aligning with EWEB’s objectives and values.

The role requires 8 years of program management experience in water utilities, strong supervision skills, and a conceptual understanding of CM/GC delivery.

Qualifications

• Equivalency: EWEB will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight (8) years of professional project or program management experience in high-level or enterprise-wide strategic Water/Wastewater initiatives.
• Four (4) years of direct supervision in a multi-functional work environment.
• Oregon PE license or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Construction Engineering Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage full program life cycle with organized and disciplined approach.
• Build program governance and advise on project approach, policies and best practices.
• Identify key stakeholders, conduct needs assessments, and plan mitigation.
• Engage with operations to ensure operability and user friendliness of the plant.
• Manage Owners Agent and other contracts to ensure performance of consultants and contractors.
• Oversee bid processes, contract management and renewals.
• Collaborate across teams, customers, and external partners to align objectives.
• Provide oversight of water rights activities and project documentation.
