Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Clerk, Will Call to support will call operations, ensuring orders are accurate, packaged, and ready for pickup or courier delivery. You will handle invoices, assist with alternatives for out-of-stock items, and coordinate with couriers for timely fulfillment.

The role requires strong communication, basic math, and reliable teamwork in a warehouse office environment with freezer/cooler areas. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience required.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
• Basic math, analytical and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
• Problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer will call orders and validate correct product and damage-free status.
• Manage will call invoices from prior day and return unpicked or cancelled items to inventory.
• Assist customers with alternative products for out-of-stock items.
• Assist and process inbound/outbound couriers (Fedex, UPS, Airborne, Bus, DHL).
• Manage product returns to maintain customer service levels.
• Maintain cleanliness of will call areas and related spaces for customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with transportation for inter-branch will calls or deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
