Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Will Call Operations associate to join the Talley team in Lenexa, KS. The role focuses on delivering a consistent customer experience by coordinating pick-up scheduling, order entry, and timely notifications to customers when orders are ready.

You will work with Sales and Operations to prioritize Will Call tasks and ensure accurate handling of tickets and returns. The ideal candidate will have forklift certification, strong organizational skills, and experience in customer

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification is required.
• High School or GED - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Quotes and Enter Orders accurately and utilize best practices for walk-in business, email, or phone
• Proactively let customers know when orders are ready (email/phone)
• Interface with Sales (as needed) to coordinate customer P/U scheduling
• Utilize the Will Call calendar in Outlook and communicate priorities to Operations
• Evaluate any remaining open orders at the time of customer pick-up and include if possible
• Maintain standard protocol for 15-day Will Call pickup policy
• Account for all printed (active) tickets weekly
• Confirm/Close all signed tickets and scan them into DocuShare daily
• Facilitate Will-Call Check-in and Check-out procedures utilizing sign-in sheets
• Assist Operations in picking orders when there is downtime at the counter
• Assist with customer checkout and loading materials into vehicles as needed
• Escalating urgent Will-Call issues requiring higher-level attention
• Responding to internal calls related to Will-Call service issues
• Enter Quality Feedback Entries and assist with RGA's
• Organize and maintain the Will Call area including snacks
• Displays strong work ethic and honesty and adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Engages in work with a high sense of urgency, highly organized and detail-oriented
• Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations
