Job summary

VP Supply Corp, a leading distributor of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical supplies, seeks a Will Call Associate for its Rochester branch. The role targets candidates with 1–3 years of packing, stocking, and customer service experience, who can analyze issues and operate basic warehouse equipment.

Ideal applicants are self-motivated, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Lifting 50–75 pounds is required, and some flexibility in schedule is expected to meet daily

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of packing and/or stocking of products.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Willing and able to operate material handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time, without stress.
• Flexibility with schedule to ensure daily warehouse duties are completed before end of shift.
• Must have reliable daily transportation to branch location.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to fulfill will call orders.
• Provide excellent customer service and help to solve customer order issues.
• Inspect product, quantities, and accuracy for deliveries.
• Ensure accuracy of quantities pulled or stocked locations.
• Take corrective action, as deemed necessary for back order or missing product.
• Ensure product is safely stored to prevent internal damage and properly located for order pulls, physical counts, and inventory control.
• Pull customer orders and ascertain accuracy that product pulled is aligned with customer specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of warehouse and inventory control policies and procedures.
• Enforce warehouse rules, keeping warehouse clean and organized.
