Job summary

Alkermes in Wichita seeks a Territory Business Manager to drive sales of Alkermes products within the local territory. The TBM will apply product knowledge, disease state understanding and strategic selling to educate healthcare providers and expand product use.

The role requires proven pharmaceutical/biotech sales achievement, a BA/BS degree, and the ability to manage targets, plans, and expenses while collaborating with District Business Leader and other teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree is required.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
• Must live within the geography of responsibility.
• Driver's license in good standing.
• Must be able to demonstrate or secure credentialing as required by providers.

Responsibilities

• Understand Alkermes products, disease states and marketplace.
• Demonstrate sales skills with approved aids and studies and through physician interactions.
• Develop and maintain healthcare provider target lists with current data.
• Use resources to increase business and discuss territory with the District Business Leader.
• Develop business plans and perform administrative tasks timely and accurately.
• Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses.
• Collaborate with DBL, RMDs, Marketing, and HQ staff.
• Adhere to promotional compliance and sample accountability policies.
