Job summary

The State of Florida, Department of Health, Alachua County WIC program seeks a Human Services Program Manager (SES) to supervise staff, oversee WIC operations, and ensure efficient clinic flow. The role requires leadership, travel between clinics, and strict adherence to health and privacy standards.

The incumbent will lead teams, evaluate performance, and coordinate with the WIC Program Manager to implement process improvements while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working in WIC.
• Willing to travel up to 2 hours with a team in a state vehicle.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Preferred – Supervisory experience.
• College and/or WIC nutrition/breast feeding certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Health Support Specialist and Records Specialist.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork within a diverse environment.
• Develop and monitor clinic procedures and performance metrics.
• Train staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure adherence to safety and privacy policies.
