Job summary

Florida Department of Health is seeking a Government Operations Consultant II to oversee local WIC program operations, provide technical assistance, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements. Qualifications

• Experience in program planning, policy development, program implementation, or evaluation is preferred.
• Experience monitoring for compliance with programmatic rules and regulations is preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with WIC or similar public health programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates local WIC operations through on-site and desk top compliance monitoring.
• Coordinates data collection, analysis, and reporting within required time frames.
• Provides technical assistance and training to local WIC agencies.
• Develops and revises policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
