Job summary

Community Action Partnership Belknap-Merrimack Counties is seeking a WIC Program Assistant II to support eligibility, enrollment, and clerical duties at the Concord WIC CSFP Office. This full-time position offers an hourly wage based on experience and may include evenings for clinic coverage.

Responsibilities include intake processing, demographic and financial data collection, measurements, scheduling, and documenting participant information.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma minimum; Medical Assistant certification a plus.
  • Experience: Two years in social services or clinical environment.
  • Skills: Highly organized and adaptable to changing environments.
  • Characteristics: Enjoy working with families and elderly.
  • Technical: Knowledge of and ability to use office software applications and computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Determine participant eligibility for WIC/CSFP/SFMNP by completing intake with required demographic and financial information.
  • Perform hematological assessments and anthropometric measurements; record results per policies.
  • Schedule appointments, make reminder calls, and follow up with participants.
  • Answer phones and perform general clerical duties as needed.
  • Accurately document participant information in client records.
