MHC Healthcare is seeking a Nutritionist to join the WIC Nutrition Services team at the Marana Main Health Center in Marana, AZ. You will screen, certify and provide comprehensive nutrition assessments to WIC participants under supervision, following federal guidelines and program requirements.

The ideal candidate has an ACEND-accredited degree in dietetics, BLS/First Aid, and a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics required (ACEND).
• BLS and First Aid certifications required or can be obtained after hire.
• Fingerprint clearance and valid AZ driver’s license required.
• WIC knowledge helpful; CBC training within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with training new and existing employees.
• Analyze health and nutrition histories across lifecycle stages.
• Provide participant-centered nutrition education to medium-risk participants.
• Approve infant formula and tailor food packages.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate record keeping.
• Refer high-risk participants to the RD for counseling.
• Promote breastfeeding and refer to IBCLC as needed.
• Conduct community outreach and build relationships with clients.
