Qualifications

• CPR/AED certification required per guidelines from AHA/Red Cross.
• Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by AZ DPS.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Excellent customer service with ability to interact with clients of varying levels.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related program applications.
• Competency in working with people of diverse cultures.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Prioritization and multi-tasking skills are required.
• Travel to multiple locations required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health appraisals and nutritional assessments; record in AIM software.
• Provide nutrition counseling, lactation management and refer high-risk clients to a dietitian.
• Complete documentation for WIC eligibility/eligibility status.
• Issue drafts and complete issuance with required documentation and signatures.
• Provide education, counseling and referrals to clients and document actions.
• Manage routine office duties: see clients, phone, filing, scheduling, and maintain file security.
• Handle basic customer service issues and escalate as needed.
• Travel to other sites as requested or needed.
• Collect specimens, perform testing and processes as indicated.
• Assist WIC Program Regional Coordinator and Site Leader on projects.
