Job summary

Pinal County is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition and breastfeeding counseling within the Community Health Nutrition Programs, including WIC. You will educate, assess, and support high‑risk clients, plan classes, and collaborate with partners to improve maternal and child health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure/credential as Registered Dietitian (RD).
• Experience in community nutrition and WIC programs preferred.
• Strong communication and counseling skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition counseling for low income, pregnant, breastfeeding women, postpartum women, infants, and children.
• Manage high risk counseling cases and perform assessments.
• Plan and teach nutrition/breastfeeding classes.
• Provide outreach and education to community groups and partners.
• Maintain case files and ensure confidentiality.
