Qualifications

• CPR and AED certification to AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card by AZ DPS.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Excellent customer service with ability to interact with diverse clients.
• Working knowledge of MS Office & program-related applications.
• Competency in working with people of various cultures.
• Valid AZ driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Prioritization and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to travel among locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health appraisals and nutritional assessments with data entry in AIM software.
• Provide nutrition counseling and lactation management; refer high-risk clients to a dietitian.
• Complete required documentation for WIC eligibility.
• Issue drafts and complete issuance with required signatures.
• Provide education, counseling and referrals to clients.
• Manage routine office tasks: see clients, phone, filing, scheduling, and document security.
• Address and resolve basic customer service issues at the site level.
• Travel to other sites as requested/needed.
• Collect specimens or perform testing as indicated when applicable.
• Assist WIC Program Regional Coordinator and Site Leader with other projects.
