Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work during emergencies including weekends.
• Must have a current valid Florida Driver’s License; if not, obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Certify potential low risk participants for the WIC program.
• Perform telephone interviews to collect demographic and health data.
• Educate participants on proxy procedures, certification periods, and checks redemption.
• Schedule appointments and refer participants to services as appropriate.
• Follow up on referrals and manage missed appointments and data reports.
• Attend trainings and required in-service sessions and departmental meetings.
