Columbia Basin Health Association (CBHA) seeks a WIC Certifier to determine eligibility for WIC services and provide patient-centered education on nutrition, prenatal care, breastfeeding, and wellness. This role follows Washington WIC regulations and connects clients with community resources.
Responsibilities include risk assessments, documentation, and upholding CBHA policies while maintaining confidentiality and professional communication in English and Spanish as needed.
Responsible for determining patient eligibility for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) services based on evaluation of risk factors and following program policies and procedures. This position also provides patient centered education regarding basic nutrition and healthy lifestyles, prenatal care, breastfeeding as well as other topics and provides referrals to community services as needed.
