Columbia Basin Health Association (CBHA) is seeking a WIC Certifier to determine eligibility for WIC services in Washington state and provide essential nutrition education to patients.
The role involves interpreting regulations, delivering bilingual education in English and Spanish, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting a positive clinic culture while following WE CARE standards.
Responsible for determining patient eligibility for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) services based on evaluation of risk factors and following program policies and procedures. This position also provides patient centered education regarding basic nutrition and healthy lifestyles, prenatal care, breastfeeding as well as other topics and provides referrals to community services as needed.
