Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: bilingual/spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Makes income eligibility determinations for WIC applicants.
• Determines continuing eligibility for month issuance of food instruments.
• Provides client education regarding voucher issuance and the certification process.
• Makes client referrals for services internally and externally.
• Prepares, maintains and reconciles charts and folders for WIC participants.
• May coordinate clinic flow and take anthropometric measurements.
• Provides in-clinic breastfeeding support through classes, 1:1, and phone calls.
