Job summary

Florida Department of Health is seeking an Accounting Services Analyst A to provide complex financial accounting for the Bureau of WIC Program Services. The role requires initiative, independence, and accuracy in processing invoices, vouchers, and reimbursements.

The position involves maintaining SPIA accounts, monitoring grant-year coding, and assisting with monthly expenditure and federal reporting requirements. Strong Excel/Word skills and prior admin experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Willing to come to the office to perform duties.
• Experience with Word and Excel preferred.
• Two years or more of administrative support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, audits and researches daily invoices and credit memos, verifies dates and unit prices.
• Enters invoices into the Fiscal Database and prepares batches.
• Codes reimbursements to SPIA accounts and monitors grant year when reconciling funds.
• Audits monthly expenditure reports and resolves data discrepancies.
• Monitors voucher audits and communicates issues to staff.
• Computes cash deposits and supports daily cash needs reporting.
