Confidential Employer is seeking a Civil Engineer in Janesville, WI for an on-site role focused on residential, commercial, and land development projects. A Wisconsin PE license and 2+ years of site design experience are required.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is highly desirable. You will design plans and grading layouts, coordinate with surveyors, contractors and government agencies, prepare calculations and cost estimates, and help manage permitting, project delivery, and client

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 2+ years of civil engineering experience in site design or land development.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil engineering design.
• Familiarity with grading, drainage, stormwater management, subdivision design, or utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering plans for residential, commercial, and land development projects.
• Create site plans, grading layouts, drainage systems, stormwater designs, and utility infrastructure.
• Prepare technical drawings, engineering calculations, project specifications, and cost estimates.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop accurate, efficient engineering designs.
• Coordinate with surveyors, contractors, clients, and local government agencies.
• Conduct site visits, evaluate project conditions, and help resolve engineering challenges.
• Support permitting, regulatory compliance, construction oversight, and project delivery.
• Manage project priorities while maintaining quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
