Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Wi-Fi Infrastructure Test Engineer in the Greater Philadelphia area to validate, test, and optimize enterprise wireless solutions. You will design comprehensive test plans and build lab environments with access points, controllers, and switches, ensuring robust performance.

The role requires 3+ years of Wi-Fi testing experience, strong knowledge of 802.11 standards, WPA2/WPA3, EAP, and proficiency in Python for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Wi-Fi infrastructure testing, including rack build-out and deployment.
• Strong Python skills with network-focused automation experience.
• Experience with Wi-Fi testing, validation, and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of WPA2/WPA3, EAP, and 802.1X authentication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans for enterprise Wi‑Fi solutions.
• Build and maintain wireless test environments and rack setups.
• Conduct functional, interoperability, and performance testing.
• Analyze traffic with Wireshark and diagnose issues.
• Develop test automation scripts to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects.
