Job Title: WI-FI Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled WLAN Test Engineer with deep expertise in Wi-Fi technologies, security protocols, and test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test strategies, setting up test beds, executing comprehensive Wi-Fi testing, and developing tools to enhance validation efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on WLAN protocol testing including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, be.
- Validate and test Wi-Fi security protocols such as WPA2, WPA3, and 802.1X.
- Perform testing on Wi-Fi extenders, mesh, and steering-related protocols (802.11k, 802.11v).
- Design and implement robust test strategies and test bed setups for Wi-Fi validation.
- Develop automation and custom tools to improve Wi-Fi testing processes.
- Conduct analysis using Wi-Fi sniffers and packet capture tools for debugging and optimization.
- Perform throughput, performance, stability, and stress testing on WLAN systems.
- Utilize industry-standard tools such as spectrum analyzers, Ixia, attenuators, Omnipeek, Wireshark, Spirent, and RF equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve WLAN-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with WLAN protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, be).
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi security protocols (WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X).
- Proficiency in mesh networking and steering technologies (802.11k, 802.11v).
- Expertise in test bed design and creating effective test strategies.
- Strong coding skills in any language with experience in Linux environments.
- Proficiency in Wi-Fi sniffers/packet capture tools and performance analysis.
- Experience in WLAN testing methodologies including throughput, performance, stability, and stress.
- Familiarity with test tools such as spectrum analyzers, Ixia, attenuators, Omnipeek, Wireshark, Spirent, and RF measurement equipment.
