Job summary

Amazon is seeking a dedicated Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to drive the world’s safest work environment. You’ll lead the Global WHS Program, blend hands-on safety with strategic thinking, and partner with Operations leadership to reduce risk while maintaining productivity.

You will conduct risk assessments, analyze safety data, and implement practical solutions. Strong relationships and influencing skills are essential to shape our safety culture across sites and functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs.
• Experience leading safety culture and program implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global WHS Program implementation and site safety champion.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze incident trends.
• Manage first aid and emergency response capabilities; ensure safety compliance.
• Engage Operations leadership to drive safety initiatives and culture.
• Travel 50–70% and support safety training across sites.
