Job summary

Stock Executive Search is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the VP of Sales in Midtown Manhattan. This in-office role collaborates closely with one or two account executives to drive sales operations, coordinate buyer meetings, and ensure smooth execution of strategies.

The ideal candidate will have retail or consumer goods exposure and a passion for growth. Salary is $75,000 per year BOE plus full benefits.

Qualifications

3 years of experience in sales support or account coordination in wholesale.
Experience in corporate retail environments or consumer goods is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to the Account Executive in managing customers.
Assist in preparing for buyer meetings, presentations, and line reviews (including materials, samples, and data).
Coordinate communication with retail buyers, vendors, and internal teams.
Track orders, inventory, and sales performance to ensure timely fulfillment and follow-up.
Help identify and research potential sales leads and new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pricing, and orders.
Support upselling initiatives by preparing product recommendations and sales materials.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment and execution.
Assist in analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
