Job summary

The Goodkind Group, LLC is seeking a Sales Assistant (Wholesale) to support the Vice President of Sales and Business Development-Swim in the Fashion District. The role emphasizes data accuracy, buyer communication, and hands-on showroom support in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have 6 months to 1 year in sales support, strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs), PowerPoint, and solid MS Office proficiency. A BA/BS is required; 4-5 days in office in NYC is expected.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a sales support role.
• Swim experience is not necessary; experience in swimwear, sportswear, accessories, etc. is acceptable.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
• Self-starter with proactive approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of the sales process, including orders, buy sheets, selling reports/recaps, and inventory.
• Engage in buyer interactions and follow up with buying teams.
• Prepare e-commerce copy for websites, highlighting product features and benefits.
• Maintain extreme attention to detail and exceptional follow up skills.
• Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Help maintain the showroom and assist with market appointments with buyers.
