Everest Insurance Company in Warren, NJ is seeking an Underwriting Assistant II to join our U.S. Wholesale Property Operations team.

The role provides operational and technical support across the commercial property policy lifecycle, including Middle Market, large-account Primary and Excess Property, and Assumed Reinsurance. You will independently manage assigned transactions, coordinate with underwriters, brokers, and operations partners, and help ensure timely, accurate processing of

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in commercial insurance operations or underwriting support.
• Experience supporting commercial property or excess and surplus lines preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and basic data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Process new-business submissions, renewals, bind requests, policy issuance, endorsements, and midterm transactions accurately and within service commitments.
• Perform rating, binder preparation, policy booking, document review, issuance and file maintenance.
• Gather underwriting information, track transactions, prioritize work, and resolve outstanding items.
• Maintain complete underwriting-file documentation per procedures and audit requirements.
• Escalate incomplete, inconsistent, or unclear instructions and processing issues.
