Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in commercial insurance operations or underwriting support.
• Experience supporting commercial property or excess and surplus lines is preferred.
• Experience delivering responsive service to business-to-business customers in deadline-driven environments.
• Working knowledge of commercial insurance terminology and policy administration systems is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps; intermediate Excel skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and service new-business submissions, renewals, bind requests, and other midterm transactions.
• Perform rating, binder preparation, policy booking, issuance, and file maintenance.
• Ensure instructions are documented before binding or issuing and escape unclear instructions.
• Gather, review, and track underwriting information; prioritize work and resolve items.
• Manage portfolio of accounts from intake through completion while meeting service commitments.
