Job summary

EWEB seeks a Wholesale Merchant Operations Supervisor to lead the Trading Operations Team through a pivotal transition in wholesale power markets. You will steer Real-Time, Short-Term, and Power Scheduling functions, align strategy with BPA products, and build the next generation of tools and workflows.

You will manage a cross-functional team in a hybrid Eugene, Oregon-based role, driving performance, compliance, and value across time horizons from near-term to next market day.

Qualifications

• Eight years of wholesale energy trading or related energy operations experience with supervisory duties.
• Experience across real-time trading, short-term trading, power scheduling, or organized markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the Trading Operations team and establish goals.
• Oversee Real-Time Operations, load balancing, forecasting and dispatch.
• Direct Short-Term trading, analytics, and power scheduling aligned with BPA products.
• Own organized markets, compliance, and market readiness with regional operators.
