Job summary

Tucson Electric Power is seeking an Analyst to join the Wholesale Power Marketing analytics team in Tucson. You will analyze market results, dispatch, forecasts and settlements, and maintain data flows behind optimization models and reporting tools.

Your work will improve efficiency and inform strategic decisions across WEIM and SPP Markets+ interfaces. Responsibilities include building data pipelines, validating model inputs, and developing Python/SQL scripts to automate analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs quantitative and statistical analysis of market, dispatch, settlement and forecast data.
• Builds and maintains data pipelines, data models and automated reporting.
• Develops analytical tools and scripts (Python, SQL) for recurring analyses.
• Provides analytics support and presents findings to stakeholders.
