Job summary

Rhone Apparel, Inc is seeking a Manager of Wholesale Merchandising based in Stamford, CT. You will optimize wholesale assortments across wholesale accounts, lead the SanMar product relationship, and coordinate assortment, sizing, and program updates.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and organized, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze data quickly in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in wholesale merchandising/buying or related field.
• 4-5 years minimum of corporate merchandising experience.
• Wholesale apparel experience is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to account markets and offices.
• In-office presence 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Build seasonal wholesale assortments by channel and account tier.
• Translate account strategy into merchandising plans to support revenue and brand goals.
• Analyze sell-through, market trends, and account performance to inform buys.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, and Sales to align product flow and pricing.
• Lead SanMar product catalog, program setup, and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop account-specific assortment recommendations for top-tier partners.
• Present assortment strategy to leadership and wholesale partners.
• Monitor competitive landscape and channel trends.
• Support line reviews, sample coordination, and linesheet creation.
• Partner with Planning and Allocation to determine buy depth and replenishment.
• Run point on SanMar development with internal and external teams.
• Maintain Merchandising database tools including PLM, ERP, BI systems.
