Job Overview

General Description: The Emerson Rogers Account Executive will be responsible for driving continuous new business revenue growth as well as maintaining existing business revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop positive business relationships with brokers, both new and existing, to ensure continued sales growth.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency in the discovery process (sales due diligence) and conceptual presentation, promoting Emerson Rogers' competitive products and services persuasively.
  3. Develop and execute a sales business plan that includes prospecting strategies to generate new broker leads and appointments.
  4. Prepare for and participate in sales meetings and one-on-one meetings with the sales manager.
  5. Apply strategic thinking and innovation based on insurance, market, carrier, and product knowledge to guide brokers through healthcare reform complexities.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers.
  7. Collaborate with brokers on sales opportunities to grow the book of business.
  8. Track appointments and opportunities using CRM tools.
  9. Assist with service functions for key cases, including additional lines of business sales, case conservation, renewals, and service activities.

  9. Knowledge of various funding arrangements (full/partial insured, self-insured, etc.).
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  11. Strong analytical skills for interpreting benefit data.
  12. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  13. Life, Accident & Health License required.
