Job summary

Meta's Global Energy Team is seeking a seasoned energy professional to manage wholesale energy and capacity contracts throughout the lifecycle, ensuring active portfolio management, commercial optimization, and alignment with growth, cost, and reliability goals.

You will own post-execution management, monitor performance, settlements, and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with internal partners to scale operations and deliver risk-managed value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, engineering, energy, or related discipline.
• 7+ years in wholesale energy markets, power trading operations, or energy portfolio management.
• Experience managing post-execution wholesale energy and capacity contracts (settlement, scheduling, compliance).
• Synthesize complex market, contractual, and regulatory information for leadership and partners.

Responsibilities

• Own post-execution management of wholesale energy and capacity contracts (PPAs, tolling, forwards, capacity).
• Monitor counterparty compliance and settlement obligations.
• Coordinate with analytics teams, affiliates, and portfolio managers to track financial performance and scheduling.
• Manage amendments, collateral, credit provisions under ISDA/EEI master agreements.
• Maintain auditable contract documents and data in systems (Salesforce, drives).
• Identify regulatory/compliance risks and drive process improvements for scale.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, accounting, tax and energy teams for alignment.
• Contribute to development of tools, dashboards and reporting for portfolio management.
