Job summary

Oremor Automotive Group is seeking a Wholesale Parts Counterperson who is highly knowledgeable about automotive parts and accessories, able to assist customers in person or by phone, locate items in inventory or source from vendors, and arrange for delivery and installation. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of dealership experience, strong computer and customer service skills, and Spanish fluency is a plus.

ADP experience is a plus, and the role offers competitive pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in automotive parts, dealership experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills and strong customer service.
• Fluency in Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work in a commission-based environment.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to develop relationships with vendors; ADP experience a plus; Lexus experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Enter purchased items into sales/inventory system, obtain payment, add to credit account, and issue receipts.
• Maintain and solicit wholesale accounts in person and by telephone; keep the Parts Manager informed on account status.
• Take customer orders, clarify requests, identify parts, and explain alternatives.
• Maintain parts inventory by verifying supplies and reordering when points are reached.
• Coordinate deliveries with drivers for wholesale accounts.
• Obtain field quotes and orders for multiple online programs.
• Receive/inspect returned items, issue credits, re-pack, re-shelve, and return damaged items to supplier.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment by following codes and procedures.
• Update job knowledge through training and reading about new products.
• Track all incoming/outgoing wholesale parts and coordinate with wholesale account reps on inventory availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
