Job summary

International Kia Orland Park seeks an Automotive Office Manager to oversee accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires collaboration with the Dealer Principal, General Manager, and accounting staff to monitor performance and ensure precise posting of vehicle transactions and dealership reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Previous Controller, Assistant Controller, Office Manager, or senior dealership accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dealership accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience with automotive DMS systems and manufacturer financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dealership accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and dealership financial reports.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure proper account reconciliation.
• Monitor cash flow and dealership banking activities.
• Review and approve accounting transactions in accordance with company policies.
