About Bits & Bows
Bits & Bows is a growing children’s lifestyle brand known for classic, thoughtfully designed apparel and accessories inspired by timeless traditions. Our wholesale business serves a growing network of premier country clubs, golf shops, resorts, specialty retailers, and national retail partners across the country.
As our wholesale business continues to grow, we are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused, and commercially minded Wholesale Account Manager to support our wholesale partners and sales organization.
The Role
The Wholesale Account Manager is the day-to-day operational and service partner for Bits & Bows wholesale accounts.
This person will own wholesale orders from receipt through shipment, ensuring orders are entered accurately, deadlines are met, issues are resolved quickly, and our customers receive an exceptional level of service throughout the entire process.
But this isn’t simply an order-processing position.
We’re looking for someone who is naturally relationship-oriented and sales-minded—someone who recognizes opportunities to grow an account, proactively follows up with customers, encourages reorders, recommends products, and helps turn customer conversations into additional business.
Working closely with our Chief Wholesale Revenue Officer, independent sales representatives, Fulfillment, Operations, and other internal teams, the Wholesale Account Manager will help ensure that Bits & Bows is exceptionally easy to do business with.
What You’ll OwnWholesale Order Management
- Own wholesale orders from receipt through shipment and delivery.
- Enter and maintain orders accurately across Bits & Bows systems.
- Review purchase orders for pricing, quantities, ship dates, cancel dates, payment terms, shipping requirements, and other account-specific details.
- Send order confirmations and proactively communicate changes or potential issues.
- Manage order revisions, additions, cancellations, backorders, substitutions, and inventory changes.
- Monitor open orders and upcoming ship windows to ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate closely with Fulfillment, Operations, Embroidery, and other internal teams to keep orders moving.
- Track shipments and provide customers with timely shipping and delivery information.
- Help resolve shortages, damages, mis-shipments, returns, credits, and other order-related issues.
- Maintain accurate account information, documentation, and order records.
- Learn and manage account-specific requirements, including retailer portals, routing instructions, custom programs, documentation, and shipping requirements.
Account Service & Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary day-to-day point of contact for wholesale customers.
- Provide prompt, polished, and helpful responses to customer questions and requests.
- Build strong working relationships with buyers, account contacts, and Bits & Bows sales representatives.
- Take ownership of customer issues from beginning to resolution rather than simply passing questions to another department.
- Proactively keep customers informed about their orders instead of waiting for them to ask.
- Coordinate internally to find solutions when challenges arise.
- Ensure every interaction reflects the level of service expected from the Bits & Bows brand.
Reorders & Sales Support
- Proactively identify reorder opportunities within existing wholesale accounts.
- Follow up with customers regarding inventory needs, seasonal opportunities, open orders, and potential replenishment.
- Respond to inbound reorder requests and help customers determine appropriate products, quantities, sizes, and assortments.
- Recommend complementary products and additional opportunities based on an account’s existing assortment.
- Communicate relevant new products, restocks, availability, and ordering deadlines.
- Prepare and close straightforward reorder business directly with customers.
- Follow up on outstanding opportunities to ensure potential orders don’t fall through the cracks.
- Identify larger growth opportunities and partner with the Chief Wholesale Revenue Officer or appropriate sales representative when strategic selling is needed.
- Support the wholesale sales team with account information, samples, order history, product availability, and other needs that help move business forward.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is equal parts organized operator, exceptional customer-service professional, and natural salesperson.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Have 2–5 years of experience in wholesale, account services, customer service, sales support, inside sales, order management, retail operations, or a related field.
- Are exceptionally organized and comfortable managing many orders, accounts, deadlines, and details simultaneously.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable communicating directly with professional buyers and retail partners.
- Have a natural sense of urgency and don’t need repeated reminders to follow through.
- Take ownership of problems and stay with them until they’re resolved.
- Enjoy building relationships with customers and genuinely like helping people.
- Have commercial instincts and are comfortable asking for the order rather than simply answering questions.
- Notice opportunities and act on them.
- Are highly detail-oriented and understand that small errors in pricing, quantities, dates, or shipping instructions can have significant consequences.
- Are comfortable working in a fast-growing environment where priorities can change and processes continue to evolve.
- Are resourceful and willing to figure things out when the answer isn’t immediately obvious.
- Work well across departments and know how to respectfully but persistently follow up when something needs to get done.
- Are comfortable learning new software and systems.
Experience with apparel, consumer products, wholesale, specialty retail, golf/country club retail, Shopify, ERP/order-management systems, or B2B sales platforms is a plus, but not required.
