Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a skilled Bartender to help open our waterfront restaurant and establish a culture of hospitality from day one. You will prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, ensuring exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes whiskey expertise, clear communication, and multitasking under pressure, with a focus on delivering memorable experiences for every guest.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartender experience in a high-volume establishment
• Strong knowledge of whiskey and other spirits, with a passion for mixology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• TIPS or similar certification (can obtain upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of whiskey varieties, origins, flavor profiles, and pairing suggestions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking inventory and supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold Sweetwaters' reputation for hospitality.
• Provide assistance to other team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
