Job summary

The Waterfront NYC at Bally’s Golf Links at Ferry Point is seeking bartenders who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. You will take orders of all sizes, pour drinks, and apply proper service etiquette. A working knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits is required, and TIPS certification is provided if needed.

Open availability and eagerness to learn are essential. Candidates should be 21+, able to stand for long periods, and possess strong customer service skills and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, champagne, and spirits.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality service to customers (and co-workers if Service or banquets)
• Adhere to all local and national liquor laws
• Mix and serve drinks following set standard recipes
• Greeting guests in a timely manner and taking orders
• Process cash, COMP and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
• Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
• Assist with inventory and inventory control
• Other Duties as assigned
