Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. is seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee whey processing operations at the Gooding Whey Plant. The role covers diverse plant duties, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across shifts.

You will monitor equipment, sample products, assist in training, and help update procedures to maintain top-tier production and compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to operate/learn plant equipment.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Reliable attendance, safety, and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate all whey processing equipment.
• Collect and deliver samples to the laboratory.
• Monitor equipment and adjust to maintain top quality products.
• Troubleshoot equipment to improve efficiency.
• Operate and maintain CIP systems.
• Keep work area clean and uncluttered.
• Assist in training of new operators.
• Update SOPs as needed.
• Take readings and fill equipment logs.
• Support plant sanitation and housekeeping.
• Cover for coworkers during absences.
• Know duties of all hourly positions at Gooding Whey.
• Report spills, safety hazards, and equipment problems.
• Participate in HACCP/food safety initiatives.
• Adhere to safety regulations and food safety standards.
